Bleaching / medical teeth whitening

In the course of a lifetime, the tooth surface comes into contact with various substances that lead to colour deposits in the enamel. Slight superficial discolorations can be removed as part of dental hygiene. Therefore, every bleaching procedure should be preceded by professional tooth cleaning in order to remove the superficial discolorations before the actual bleaching process. Deep colour pigments already embedded in the enamel can be whitened using a bleaching process similar to the bleaching of hair.

Why whiten teeth?
Whiter teeth look healthy, well-groomed and attractive. They give self-confidence and can open new doors both professionally and privately. A really convincing result can only be achieved with professional teeth whitening at your dentist's: sustainable
white teeth that look healthy, natural and attractive at the same time.

Which method do we use?
Teeth whitening with high-performance LEDs is a safe, proven and successful method. Numerous studies have shown that tooth whitening is safe for both teeth and gums. The active ingredient hydrogen peroxide has proven itself for decades in dentistry for light-activated tooth whitening. The effect is scientific
proven, gentle on the enamel, sustainable and, with proper care, very long-term.

How does a treatment work?
We examine the teeth beforehand and make sure, for example, that there is no caries. Since the teeth must be free of plaque, we carry out a professional tooth cleaning beforehand. For the subsequent teeth whitening we cover the gums and apply the whitening gel to the teeth several times. The teeth are whitened in three 15-minute sessions using light activation to protect the enamel. After about two hours you will have your radiant, youthful smile back.
